Tarot by phone, in Spanish: today you can finally ask what you've been holding back for months

You choose your minutes, pay by card and call. A real person answers you in Spanish — no subscriptions, no monthly fees, no surprises on your bill: you pay exactly what you chose. Every reading is conducted entirely in Spanish. Se habla español, siempre.

A tarot card spread doesn't guess the future: it puts order into what you already sense. The arcana are shuffled, read slowly, and what worries you is talked through calmly.

We answer by phone because a voice says more than a chat window. No robots, no waiting days for a slot, and no writing out your life story to a stranger.

Love tarot, work, money, or that doubt you don't even know how to name. The minutes you buy stay saved under your name for whenever you want to use them.

The birth of the tarot and of the psychicsA story six centuries long
Milan, around 1440

The cards were born for playing, not fortune-telling

The first tarots were luxury decks painted by hand for the courts of northern Italy. The most famous are the Visconti-Sforza cards, commissioned by the dukes of Milan: sheets of pasteboard covered in gold leaf, worth a fortune. The game was called trionfi, the triumphs, and from there came the word tarocchi. For nearly three hundred years nobody used them to read destiny: people simply played with them, the way card games are played today.

Marseille, 17th and 18th centuries

The printing press puts the tarot in everyone's hands

When French workshops begin printing decks in volume, the tarot stops being a game for dukes. In Marseille the design we still recognize today takes its final shape: 78 cards, with 22 major arcana —the Fool, the High Priestess, the Wheel of Fortune, the Star, the Moon, the Sun— and 56 minor arcana divided into cups, coins, swords and wands. The Tarot de Marseille is still the deck many psychics use today.

Paris, 1781

The day the cards began to speak of the future

A scholar named Court de Gébelin publishes the claim that the tarot hid the lost wisdom of ancient Egypt. It wasn't true —today we know the cards are Italian, from the 15th century—, but the idea spread like wildfire. Soon after, a Parisian print seller who signed his work Etteilla published the first method for reading the cards and became the first professional card reader in history. From then on, the tarot never left the consultation table.

France, early 19th century

The psychics: from the oracle of Delphi to Napoleon's salon

Consulting the future is as old as talking. In ancient Greece, the Pythia of the oracle of Delphi answered kings and generals; in Rome, the sibyls were read. But the modern fortune-teller, the one who sits across from you with a deck, has a name of her own: Marie Anne Lenormand. She read the cards for the best society of Paris and, as was told all through the century, also for Joséphine, Napoleon's wife. She became so famous that to this day there is a deck bearing her surname.

1909 and what came after

From Pamela Colman Smith's drawings to the phone reading

In 1909, the artist Pamela Colman Smith drew, alongside Arthur Edward Waite, the deck half the world knows today: the first in which every card tells a scene, the minor ones included. That tarot filled the tables of the 20th century. And when the telephone entered every home, the reading left the parlor: today there's no appointment to book and no city to cross —you dial a number, someone shuffles on the other end, and the conversation begins.

Frequently asked questionsWhat callers usually ask

How much does a phone tarot reading cost?

From $8 for 15 minutes. There are also packs of 30 minutes for $15, 45 for $20, 60 for $25 and 70 for $30. It is a one-time payment: no subscription, no monthly fee.

How many cards does the tarot have?

The tarot has 78 cards: 22 major arcana and 56 minor arcana divided into four suits — cups, coins, swords and wands.

What is a tarot spread?

It is the way the cards are laid out on the table. The simplest is the three-card spread — past, present and future; the most complete is the Celtic Cross, with ten cards.

Can I pay by card?

Yes. You pay by card in a single one-time charge, through a secure payment gateway: no subscription, no monthly fee, no automatic charges. We do not store your card details.

Do the minutes I buy expire?

No. They stay linked to your phone number and you use them whenever you like, in one call or several.

Does a person answer, or a machine?

A person, always. When you call, someone answers, takes your details and puts you through to the psychic.

Is the service in Spanish?

Yes — everything is in Spanish from start to finish: the person who answers the phone and the psychic who reads your cards. No translators, no recordings in another language.
